Long before the formulation of the 3-year Executive Agenda of the present administration, the Ati-Atihan Town of Kalibo, Province of Aklan had already approved its ten year Comprehensive Development Plan for the period 1996-2005 by virtue of Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 99-04, dated February 8, 1999 as an administrative and legislative tool to concretize and advance its policies for effective governance. Like all other municipalities, the Ati-atihan Town of Kalibo envisions to keep pace with the global competitiveness to get a cutting edge to the rapid transformation of Information and Communication Technology, the world over, while placing emphasis to the growing demand for improved and efficient e-commerce and e-government services at the dawn of the third millennium where Information Technology Highway is indispensable to the growth and development of the town and the people we serve. |
